1. MOE & NIE Certified Teachers Only:
At Catalyst Tutors, we only shortlist and recommend current/Ex-MOE Teachers who possess a certified NIE Qualification. This ensures that the tutor has undergone the mandatory training sessions and practicum to be considered a full-fledged MOE School Teacher. Contract Teachers and Allied Educators who are not NIE Trained will not be considered or recommended in this category of tutors. In addition, we take a concerted effort to provide parents with the necessary verification documentation (NIE & Educational Certificates) upon request.
2. Pertinent Subject & Level Teaching Experience:
We only shortlist and recommend current/Ex-MOE Teachers who have relevant subject and level teaching experience. For instance, if a parent puts in a request for a Secondary 2 Express Mathematics student, we only short-list NIE-trained Teachers who have experience teaching O Level Mathematics Classes in Secondary Schools. This ensures that students will be able relevant and up-to-date teaching methodologies from the NIE-trained teacher.
3. High Level of Commitment:
One of the biggest worries parents have about engaging an NIE-trained Teacher would be the level of commitment due to their busy schedule. At Catalyst Tutors, we hear you and we ensure that our NIE-trained Teachers are able to commit for a minimum of 3 months before allocating the tuition assignment to the selected Tutor.
